Does your Kioti call for a hydro fluid changeout at only 50 hrs?

No, its kind of conflicting. They call out for filter only. But i was getting different answers depending on who i asked, so i changed fluid also. Best to get any starting fluids out of tractor was my thoughts.

No, The manual doesn't call for it at 50 hrs. But many will recommend it. I changed mine at 50 hrs. and let it sit in the bucket for about a month before I took it for recycling. I was surprised how much sediment had settled at the bottom. For around $70, I feel it was worth the insurance.

Yeah, it's pretty much a 50/50 split on opinions here as to whether change the hst fluid at 50 hours. On my last tractor I changed the fluid at 50h, and my current machine I did it at the 400h mark (by spec).
I prefer to do my own maintenance and repairs when possible. For my tractor the 400h service was around $400 in materials (maybe more). Paying myself $200-300 to do the work myself took the edge off.

I think 650 is foolish for the 50hr if you are comfortable doing your own maintenance, do it, most likely you will do a better job then they would, I did all the fluids simply because I wanted to know what was used, didn't really have to but my comfort choice - one of the most important steps for you to do: torque / grease / tighten - I do not think I spent 200 doing everything including front axle - it will not jeopardize the warranty, I keep the receipts and mark the date done in the manual.

I just went over 50hr of use on my Kioti CK2510.

I called the dealer to see about getting the 50hr service and they quoted me $650.00.

Wow. That seems high, but then I have not done it before so I don't know.

I can get the full set of filters on Amazon for about $125, and all of the fluids locally. I do my own auto maintenance. I assume I can do this as well??

It doesn't affect my warranty if I do it myself does it? $650.00 is a huge hit for me right now.

Support your local dealer - buying filters or parts from them helps keep the doors open. Amazon won't fix your tractor under warranty, so why support them.
