Drinking first cup of coffee. 39° with rain this morning. Heading to 53° with continues rain. Got old papers burned in fire barrel.
Furnace guy came out a fixed flame sensor on furnace. Running correctly now. He found where a ticking noise was coming from when fan was running. Cold air return in dining room wall. Fixed. Must be nice to have good hearing.
Made to Menard and picked up some Sunflower and Bird see. Both on sale.

Randy, get the thief's.

Mostly, new drone is a lot faster than smaller one I have. It has front and rear sensors that are used for object avoidance. It will stop moving if something is sensed in front or rear of drone. Beyond that about the same operation.

Alien, thanks for the link. Lots of information on the thread. My new Drone is a DJI Mavic Air 2. So far I have not crashed my Mini or the Air 2. I am surprised that I can operate them at 78 years old.

David, hope Sophie's continues to get better. Great pictures.

Roy, a chance to play with all the controls on tractor.

Drew, sharp eye to see Sassy in picture.

Looking, better you get the snow than me. Little over 1" of rain forecast for here.

Everyone stay safe safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

45 going to 65. Damp outside.

Prayers said for Randy and Sophie.

David, I was wondering about those names...thanks for clearing it up.

Rip, misery loves company, so I pulled up a couple of floor boards yesterday that my wife has been mentioning...right at the threshold of the screen porch. I had just the right replacement board in mind, then went to get it (from the bottom of the stack  and it was all wrong). Then spent more time looking all over for another than it would have taken to drive the 20 miles to the closest lumber vendor...no luck....gotta go to town today anyway...but won't find the same lumber...porch is made of tongue and groove baldcypress...just doesn't rot, but this piece cracked up badly.

But that got me motivated to get a sheet of plywood from the rafters of the shed for another project...problem is that it, too, was on the bottom of a lot of stored items and leftover pieces of plywood...each piece got measured, and came up a couple inches short. So after a couple of hours of spilling fallen mud dauber nests and black snake poop on me, got what I needed and most everything replaced neatly. Some items are headed to the dump...my rule is if I have to move it, and it hasn't been used in a few years, give it away or toss it. Don't want to leave a huge burden for the kids when I go, or for me if I move.

Roy, would one of these be a benefit?

I have three of them and as long as I plug the vehicle including the Kioti in, I can activate the block heaters without leaving my nice warm house. I have all three on the same circuit, mainly because I don't have them all on at the same time.

Thanks!
My extension cord runs from inside the garage to the tractor. As I wrote, I leave the tractor end plugged in...I just have to go in the (attached) garage to plug in to the wall receptacle. The garage is heated, but we don't keep it "room temperature" since we'd lose a lot of heat through the garage doors. But, it's warmer then gong outside

29 right now...high in the upper 30's today.
Other then a dump run, I wrote about my plans in post #123446

Read Drew's post about snow in PA next Wednesday. That must be a very widespread storm, since most of the NE will be hit too. Our 10 day fantasy forecast started off a day or so back at 7-8", now it's down the (maybe) an inch or so. I would really like a good 6-10 inches...

You may get your wish mid week.

54-64 today, big change from yesterday. No snow in our forecast, just over an inch of rain both Monday and Wednesday. Getting colder too. Timing of the cold air is likely to keep us wet.

Sadamo great doggies, and that Jeep would be worth a small fortune now.

Ron, new drone sounds like fun.

RS, you’re a busy dude!

LS, Kyle, Mostly, Don, Drew and all of you guys are very impressive with what you can do and how much.

Good Morning!!!! 45F @ 4:00AM. Cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. High 58F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
It's raining now, but we've only picked up 0.08" since it started last night at about 10PM. Supposed to stop soon, then more comes in tonight through tomorrow, but only about 1/2". Every bit of it is welcome, but it's sure no drought buster.

Those are daunting CV19 numbers, Ron. Even though one of the vaccines has been approved, the roll out won't be fast enough to make much of a dent before spring. And polling shows that a significant number of folks won't take it even if it is made available to them.:confused3: Maybe an unintended consequence of that is those that do want it won't have as long to wait?

You're not in North Carolina anymore, Drew. Hope the snow isn't as bad as predicted, no matter where you are.

That's a lot to keep track of, RS. Wore me out just reading it!

Sorry to hear about the thievery, Randy. Maybe time to put out a game camera or two? Hope they can help you with the kidney diagnosis.

Reminds me of the lanyards we used to weave back in summer camp, Phil. Never figured out what to do with them when we were done, though.:confused2:

Oil pan is on and filled, and the HF o-ring sampler held a pair that seemed to be the correct size for the dip stick tube. Just to be sure, they also got a healthy daub of silicon seal. I used Loctite 5900 on the pan gasket, rated to fill up to 1mm gaps. I sure hope there aren't any that big! Temps were in the mid 50s in the garage yesterday, and oh boy was that stuff hard to squeeze out. Had to make several orbits on all those bolts holding the pan on as the goop squeezed out and (hopefully) filled any gaps. Real hard to see the pointer on the torque wrench dial, and the pan on the motorcycles is the same deal. Ordered an electronic inch-pound wrench this morning that vibrates and beeps when the correct torque is reached, so I'll be all set for the next time.

Started sprinkling just as I finished hosing off the Weatherguard floor mats from the truck, but with some drying out this afternoon, I'll get after the dust inside later today. Threw another tarp over the wood pile, too, and put away and closed up a few other things so they'd stay dry in the rain.

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
