Good job MoMower, I'll bet your customers are happy.

Are you only back grading with your FEL bucket and not using a box blade also ?

I finally got my square tubing sleeves welded to the dozer blade existing shoe brackets, and also painted.

I wanted to get the bracket completed so tomorrow I can reinstall it on the dozer blade with the original skid shoes, because more snow is coming.

Here are some more pictures of the progress of the new UHMW skid shoes:

Previous post for this new UHMW skid shoe project are #671, #672, #675, & #678.

(for this project update see post #701)

Both bucket and box blade use for both of those. Usually use the bucket for the final.

Nice progress with your plow!

Oh, that makes sense, I just asked because I saw your backhoe installed in your far right picture.

Thanks for the kind words, but I feel my progress is at a snails pace since it seems other things override my projects, ha.

Yup had the BH on for that one as well, had a few small stumps and large boulders to pull out.

Ahhh, I’ve been working on trails in my own woods for 3 years....life gets in the way.

finally got to work for a few hours on the one trail I had started 3 years ago. Now have a few hundred yards of trail that I can drive my tractor through. Had to remove a bunch of fallen ash trees and take down a few that are dead but still standing. Tractor certainly makes it fast to get these out of the way. Need to remove a few small stumps and this first trail will be ready. Then to start the bigger trail!

Was gonna start today, it’s snowing, with the threat of 12” on Wednesday. And so it goes....

All of mine are on a slopes, so no working in the snow.

Ha! It'd be the last job that machine would be doing if you play on a slope in the snow. For as handy as these machines are their strength definitely isn't traction on an incline given the usual rubbers on them, the narrow wheelbase and lack of weight to bite into slicker conditions.
