I hear ya Moss, paid $28,000 for our first house $30,000 for house #2 and $114,000 with 11 acres for house# 3 which were are still in.Car/truck prices are nuts. The wife and I were very fortunate to have pretty good jobs before we retired and had a little extra $$ to spend.Less for the Kids to fight over when we croak..LOL..Anytime I see vehicle prices like that I cringe. Our first house was $20K. Our 20 acres was $30K. Our current house was $60K. I realize times are changing, and I don't hold anything against someone that can afford it. My wife and I can afford it. However, it just leaves me with a sour stomach.
About 10 years ago my wife, who works at a financial institution, started telling me about people taking out loans for $50K SUVs and pickup trucks. I guess I'm just a little tight with the money.![]()
Yes Yukon..List was $79,000 now $63,000 IMHO is still CRAZY High $$..
Already own a Ram 2500..That is 20% off, a number you can achieve on a new RAM just about any day. I guess it is down to how much you want a Yukon.
The 6.2L ecotec is a solid engine, I would buy it if you could get more off the asking price.
Btw what transmission is in it?
The 6 or 8 speed..
The 6l80E is a solid trans but not offered that much anymore or at all..maybe still in the smaller engine configurations..
The newer 8L90-E still had some bugs to be worked out.. but I think it's solid now
If it has the new 10 speed... Be careful that's all new
They're putting an 80 in half tons now?
