Ratingen, October 30, 2020 - The Makita Group will cease production of gasoline-powered products on March 31, 2022.
Makita is a global provider of a comprehensive range of tools for creating comfortable living spaces, including cordless tools, cordless garden tools and pneumatic tools.

Man I want to work for you if your used to paying out those amounts.

Total bills. stihl 440 $40, 025 $15, H440 $20, P1 $15, P2 $15.

Had a guy drive over a hour to bring me a stihl 460 in a box apart once. 2 dealers told him a estimate of $700. I redone it with parts and labor for $200. Half that was parts.

Two years ago I took my 2013 550xp to have fixed, it wasn't idling or going full power. I took it to a chainsaw repair shop, the chainsaw guy took it apart and said one of both seals are gone and possibly bearings on crankshaft needs to be replaced, labor and parts was going to be $300.00+.

So I guess when splitting a saw it gets expensive putting it back together. The saw guy wouldn't give me a nickel for it in a trade-in so I sold it on ebay and bought a new 550xp, somewhere else for $75.00 less then what he wanted, maybe I should've brought it out to you that weekend while I was out riding around..........

I wish someone like you was around here. There are real good saw guys here, but they charge those amounts to say good morning.

The name brand shops want 80 here to even look at folks saws. That was like 5 years ago.

But I hate how they do their techs etc too. Charge like 75-105 hr but pay their techs beans.
I laughed when I checked what a local stihl dealer here was paying their techs for the first 3 levels up to gold.

I'm retired now and picky who's saws I work on. Just word of mouth and good folks saws.
