I got the Covid

14 hours of rain ahead! Stuck in a tin can camper so the tv is on constantly. Currently showing a program about polio.

I'm old enough to remember polio. I'm gettin the vaccine ASAP!

I here that! One of my cousins got polio, she was I think 3 years younger than me.

When I was a teenager, a friends mom had a really bad case of polio. Seeing her in an iron lung changed me a little bit. I'll never forget the sight and sound of that machine.
I'm all in with preventive medicine because of it.

Eddie, My wife's loss of sense of smell and taste lasted for almost 2 months after her bout with Covid. I hope you wife fares better. She was also fatigued for weeks. It seems to strike different people different ways.

Eddie I had a co-worker that had an Akita. If he was working at night he would bring it in once in a while. My kids were pretty little and if I went in at night my son would always say is the guy with the doggy with the big feet going to be there? They are neat dogs. Continued good luck in the recovery.

Merry Christmas Eddie. Glad you are at least online. I hate sitting around when I am sick or injured and can't get outside and play, eh I mean work on something.

That'll be a handy machine. You must have been especially nice this year, All that I got was a sock full of coal. He could at least have kept with the times and left me a gallon of diesel...

Until Eddie started this thread, nobody really mentioned their experiences with the Covid. It's here to stay in some way, shape, or form so it's good to see people talking about it and how catching it affected them.

You know what they say about opinions.

I have no issues with those that wear a mask. If their mask / face coverings are effective, then it should prevent them from catching anything, a cold, flu, or anything else someone without a mask would be spreading. Hey, that's my opinion !

I think wearing Mask would make a good Twilight zone movie.

They're not to protect yourself, they are to keep you from spreading the infection to others. If you don't care, that's on you.

Is there an alternative that I could use so that I can actually see while protecting myself and others?

We use No Fog surgical masks at work... it's not quite no fog but had an adhesive strip at the nose bridge when bent forms a good deal...

I have been using FogAway anti-fog spray by Gamer on my glasses the last two months and it works. It's On Amazon for about $15. I spay it on my glasses and then dry them with a hair dryer and then wipe them clean. It last for 3-4 days unless you get them wet.
