New MX5400

Steppenwolfe, I'm curious if you know how many gallons they filled in your rears, the weight it added and the cost? Thanks!

Ditto! I guess I need to go shopping for another piece of property!

Riverpro,
Careful what you wish for. I have 3 properties and keeping tractors on each can be a challenge.

Steppenwolfe,
Congratulations!

Just got home from the Kubota dealer; bought a new 2021 MX5400 open station, 4wd, and geared tranny. FEL ssqa, 6ft bucket, 3rd function remote for my grapple, two sets of rear remotes, loaded tires (R4's). No pictures yet, as it is in the crate. Should get delivered late next week. This will be my full time farm property tractor and my MX5100 can finally come home where I need it. $33,500 out the door.

Congratulations! Who is your dealer? I wonder if you went with Mt Airy in NC or stayed in VA. I just bought from Beverage Tractor because they are opening a big new branch in Blacksburg, 22 mins away.

I ended up going to Collie Equipment in Danville, VA; it's about 45 minutes from my farm property. I called every dealer from Roanoke down to Blue Ridge Tractor , nobody had an MX open station. Blacksburg is about two hours from the farm, little over an hour from my house.

Sounds like what I went through a few months back with ours. Ended up getting one in PA.

They called me when they got one ready. I was down in Stuart's Draft and all the places in between. Back then....they were still in crates if the dealer had one.

Heck had to wait on the arm rests....on a boat somewhere at the time.

The MXs are a really popular platform.

Looks like a good dealer. 2 hrs from me. Hope I made the right choice, gambling on the virtues of a really close dealer.

Just a heads up.

I own a mx and, in my case, many of the zerks, grease fittings, were loose, one broke because of that. A couple of the stop nuts on the fel worked themselves loose and are gone. The oil/hydraulic/gas filters were almost impossible to get off, at 50 hours.
