I don't know how you will be using your tractor but I will say this the "instructor" seats in the tractors here get used much more than you would think they would be.

Love the instructors seat. Never had an instructor in it, but it’s a great place to put up my tired feet and a lunch/dinner table.

Every day a different use for a instructors seat, I have used it for a lunch table a few times but more often
to ferry someone from the far end of a field back up to get a truck or down to another tractor or piece of equipment.
And then of course teaching someone how to do something or to just drive the tractor,
not to mention giving the wife or girl friend a ride when she brings lunch or supper out to you and visits while you eat.
Then nieces and nephews, grand kids and visitors.
Or even just having some young whippersnapper to jump out and pull the drawpin from one wagon and lift the hitch
and pin the next one when switching wagons.

Yeah I taught my son from the instructors seat. Good times.

I would suggest test driving the tractors you are interested in to make sure it will work for you.

There is a NH dealer next door to a Kubota dealer (where I bought my tractor) in Texarkana, Tx. Might be worth the drive if you get a good response from both of them on the phone.

When I priced out my tractor the Kubota dealer in Texarkana beat out nearby Kubota dealers (within 2 hr drive) by $1k.

I've driven both. That by itself really didn't help me. I did notice the Kubota display shows PTO RPM. Pretty cool. I don't know if NH does that or not. I would say the NH is quieter, and the seat adjustment is easier (how often do you need the change that?). I don't particularly like the view out the back window of either, but I think I'll get used to it, after no cab for the last 50 years.

Thanks, everybody -- I think I've settled on the NH. If it works out, I'll post some pictures.

The WM75 shows the PTO RPM. For 540 PTO RPMs I run at 2000 engine RPMs. I mow in mid range 2nd gear, 2.4 MPH. If I go to 3rd gear it is 3.5 MPH, little too much jarring on my back.

I have a 7320 and other than a bad o-ring on a remote and having to adjust the alternator belt no problems in 3 years and 400 hours. Recently upgraded to a 12' batwing mower and it pulled fine in the little bit that I have used it (used a neighbors 15' and it was a little much in heavy wet grass). I do wish it had a buddy seat, but other than that I am happy with it and would buy another. I do use it like a forklift a lot and the self leveling loader is a must, and if I remember right, the Kioti loader was quite a bit stronger than others in the class.

Preferably not both at the same time.

Well I have had both in the same tractor at different times, but they were the same person, one became the other, :drink:
