Frankenstein bucket.

I needed a gravel bucket for my kx040 to backfill sewers. My dealer, like lots of dealers, have a bunch of pin on buckets that come on smaller tractors. Welded the adapter on, reinforced and made deeper. Works great for gravel.

That looks pretty good. I was thinking a trailer to pull on my excavator would be a big asset in gravel filling vs having to go back to the pile every time. It would also be nice for keeping a job clean like the inside of a footer. That’s not my setup I just took that picture from YouTube.

A 40 isn’t a big enough machine to dip trucks sitting at the same level as the truck. My buddies 80 can barely do that and it still works better sitting higher than the truck.
