Frankenstein bucket.

I needed a gravel bucket for my kx040 to backfill sewers. My dealer, like lots of dealers, have a bunch of pin on buckets that come on smaller tractors. Welded the adapter on, reinforced and made deeper. Works great for gravel.

That looks pretty good. I was thinking a trailer to pull on my excavator would be a big asset in gravel filling vs having to go back to the pile every time. It would also be nice for keeping a job clean like the inside of a footer. That’s not my setup I just took that picture from YouTube.

I'm jealous of your 250ES behind the bucket... and the excavator but those trikes are fun :)

I think you did a good job (for gravel) and should save you time. Are you dipping out of a truck ?

No, just gravel piles on job sites.

A 40 isn’t a big enough machine to dip trucks sitting at the same level as the truck. My buddies 80 can barely do that and it still works better sitting higher than the truck.
