Finished up the larger fish structure. Should make for a good area to hold fish. 20 foot in diameter by 6 foot tall. Still have two smaller ones that I plan to make in one of the shallower areas.

Was thinking the same thing and also the trapping air inside this contraption causing too much buoyancy.Are you using much weight to hold them down? During a large inflow / outflow event you will be surprised at the amount of current, even in the deeper parts.

Yes. Probably 120 lbs in each including top one..
Top is also tied to the bottom drums. Drums are upright with no lids and holes in them as well so there is no buoyancy.
Are you at all concerned about having to... look at that crazy contraption right under the water surface for the rest of your life? I probably would have gone with stumps and logs instead, for the aesthetic consideration. That said, your structure have more fish hidey-holes, and you could always paint them real quick....
