Shows my reading comprehension skills doesn't it?

Here's what I read:

While I agree with Hay Dude's assessment, this Red Tailed Hawk took the wiser road and pigged out on roadkill Deer.

You have to stake the carcass or the coyotes move it out of range. Good analysis for those that figured that out.

In my experience it requires two stakes to keep it in place. I don't try to drive them thru bone. So as the feeding progresses the skeleton loses it's integrity. With one stake it still gets moved.

I'm going to go unstake it and turn it over tomorrow. I think there's a few meals left on the lower side.

2 of our barn cats just killed. Coyote suspected, but 1 cat has been disemboweled. I was in farm tractor and found one 200 yards from barn this way, but strangely, fresh coyote scat nearby cat carcass . Coyote wouldnt kill a barn cat this way. Did it stop by and sniff around the cat and the scat is just a coincidence? Cat killed by another cat? Other cat disappeared without a trace.
Putting goats in barn for their safety.

We lost a kitten a few years ago, and contacted animal control in case anyone had turned her in, and he said bobcats take a high number of cats and he guessed that is what happened. We do have bobcats in the area, I see them a few times a year and get regular pictures of them on my trails. We have the very rare bald eagle too. Saw one flying alongside the road a couple of years ago a couple miles from my place. Majestic birds.
