Not available in all states but I have a marine policy with Shelter for backhoe and tractor.

I have a contractors equipment insurance policy that protects my tractor from theft, vandalism and physical damage (excluding general wear and tear). I don't know how it would cover physical damage from a roll-over. I've had the policy for 10 years and never filed a claim. Costs about $250/year with a $12,000 coverage cap.

My agent said he was looking into a marine policy.

I’m curious also.
My Kubota paid off in December and the KTAC insurance came to an end.
I also am shopping.

I believe you are referring to Inland Marine policy. It's sort of a hybrid policy that covers equipment that is portable but not licensed for road use. Lots of variations.
Forklifts, dozers, tractors, etc.

Mine's now through my USAA policy. It covers anything I do with it or to it, both on or off the property.

So far, knock on wood (taps head) I haven't needed it for anything.

Fingers crossed.

My 250 hr., Kubota L48 TLB is covered under my USAA homeowner policy also.
I have "replacement value" homeowner coverage, so I assume they would pay to replace it, if stolen or burned, or damaged.
I have never done, nor will ever do, any TLB work for hire!

Closest to actual replacement would be the current L47 TLB, which would likely be 55K+ including all the extras my machine has.
I have inquired about this potential issue with them several times, and they have repeatedly assured me that they WOULD replace.
I still wonder!

I did have a 250K homeowner fire loss in 1987, (that would likely be a 500K+ loss now) and USAA was wonderful to work with then!

I believe you are correct, I had never heard of it but did some quick googling this morning.

I like Kubota's insurance for ease and coverage but! My home is covered by Erie and there replacement value is awesome. I was working with a customer and they had a fire which left there 1210 david brown with cab destroyed. The bought them a brand new Case 75 horsepower with cab!!!
