mower won't drop with 3pt control

Been there, done that. The arms move freely up and down but there is no hydraulic power. I've turned the valve on and off several times, played with the levers, done a dance around the tractor, and nothing.

You have to have a good fire going while you do the dance or it won't help at all! LOL.

Do you have a FEL? Is it working? I don't know much about troubleshooting the hydraulic system.

Missed the fire idea, will try that today after the rain stops LOL. Actually, I called a dealer and got in touch with the right guy. He said I didn't connect a set of hydraulic hoses from my backhoe correctly. That will be my chore for today. I will post my results.

Well....so much for the dealer input. I have three hydraulic leads coming from the hydraulic system to hook up my backhoe. 2 males and one female. Neither one of the males will mate with the female. I'm not so sure the guys who plumbed this thing didn't mess something up.

you need to complete the loop, if all 3 lines are off, i was told the loader doesn't work either, that said, shut the machine down, and move the joystick controller in all directions, this should make it easier to connect up the hoses. one of them should have a rubber boot, that one should not be connected.

I finally reached the right person at a not so local Mahindra Dealership. The whole problem was my fault. I didn't take enough pressure off the female hose end to allow the male to seat properly. Once I let a little oil out the male slipped right in to complete the loop and now I have a 3 pt hitch. I needed this to hold my home made counter weight that I made with a beer keg loaded with scrap steel and concrete. It's beautiful and won't rust out. BTW, the loader was working all the time.

Yup, that makes sense and was going to be my next question if the FEL was working, if that line was connected or not. Glad you got it straightened out.
