I will never forget my 90s (late 80s?) trip to Vegas. Bob Stupack (sp?) package. Cheap shrimp cocktails made with those canned shrimps where there are about two hundred to a small can! lol

No one, should ever die, not having visited VEGAS! Sometimes insanity is amazing to witness.

My wife and I have been to IKEA once. We were walking around looking and got ready to leave and we realized we had to either retrace our steps or keeping following the path to get out. We both decided once was enough.

You are correct, been there twice. Half marathon to get out of the place, I think the idea is to get you to look at as much as possible before you leave. Not my type of place. Never again.

There are some moderately hidden marked short cuts sprinkled throughout the store. Once you get used to looking for them you can be through in very little time. Every IKEA that I've been to has the short cuts.

Yep. :laughing: IKEA is the Disney World of furniture shopping. They have the store setup up to route the customer along a path designed to get you to spend the most money possible. It really is brilliant.

You just needed to go back a few more times. :laughing: You can eat cheaply in the restaurant, get in your exercise/steps walking through the store, and on the way out, buy some well prices frozen food as well as chocolate. :laughing: Once you have done this a few times, you will have figured out how to get out of the store by avoiding The Path.

LazyBoy has a lifetime frame construction warranty which I used on a 13 yo a couple times.

I still use my 45 yo recliner in the shop. I put a frame and wheels under it and the frame is still in very good shape as is the fabric. A few grinding spark pin holes but not bad.

I wanted to replace my 13 yo one in the living room because of creaks and groans, but went down to the Lazyboy store and the fabric does look cheap on the new ones, so I will keep the old one.
