Re: How痴 Eddie?
My mother in-law is 80 and a liver transplant recipient going on 14 years. She takes anti-rejection medicine and has a compromised immune system. She also has developed kidney issues due to the liver situation over the years. Her liver, kidney, and family doctors were all adamant that she get vaccinated as soon as possible, even though she had COVID and was hospitalized for 5 days back in late November/early December. Got her first dose a few weeks ago and gets her 2nd on March 24.
Getting shot or not getting shot?
My wife is 74 and I am 77. I have an artificial heart valve and any medical procedure involving the potential of blood contamination requires a heavy proactive dose of a broad spectrum antibiotic.
In as much as i have not found any information about potential complications regarding artificial aortic heart valves and the vaccine we are electing not to jump on the COVID vaccine band wagon.
I am curious to know if there are any TBN members out there with aftermarket body parts who have taken the vaccine and what if any negative issues were encountered post the almighty arm poke.
