Back when I had an electric golf cart, I bought one of those low-cost vinyl surrounds that had zippers on each side for doors. That vinyl surround cost less than $100 and it made that golf cart totally usable in the dead of winter. It made all the difference in the world at breaking the wind chill. I wish I could get one similar for the new John Deere Gator.

Congratulations Ron.

Randy, I'm very sorry that you're having to do these things. You have our condolences and prayers.

I'm looking into windshields for mine Ron. I'd like one that can be installed and removed quickly so .. I could use it in winter but .. remove and store rest of the year.

I'll likely find just the right one when it gets warm and I lose interest in even having one.

Mine velcros on. Was a little bit of pain to put the edging around it. I keep it on all year.
I don’t have a back glass, don’t drive it that fast, so not a problem.

RIP Rush. You entertained me for a lot of years.

Not sure what is gonna happen with this emu thing. The geese are interesting enough. And emus are a lot bigger than geese. She keeps showing me videos of peoples emus, maybe she is trying to convince me they will be entertaining. Still don稚 think Oscar will like the competition for attention....

Co-worker who lives outside of Houston just got power back early this afternoon. Other than brief periods of power coming on, he basically has had no power for 2 days. His fianc and his daughter have been staying with her parents.

Rich, I was told to be really careful of emus. Their knees bend forward and they can deliver a kick with pointy toe nails.

Rick, most sxs mfgs recommend a rear windshield with the front windshield, to keep out the back draft of dust and wind.

..was a Hechinger brand contractor model with nice oak handles, thick steel and strong axle and frame...painted blue, but wore off many years ago. Has mixed plenty of concrete, hauled all kinds of wood dirt and kids around. Hechinger was a great store...before the HDs and Lowes, etc got big...whatever happened to them...I think they were a chain out of Maryland.

.

Yes, from Lanham MD. My wife worked for them right after we got married. She wasn’t there long, they treated employees bad. She told them she could work any time but Sunday morning, they kept scheduling her for Sunday morning.
I still have some things with hechinger name on them.
Her shortest job was with arbitron, a tv ratings company. We were just married , only had 1 car. I dropped her off the first day for training, when I picked her up that night she said she wasn’t going back. They did pay her for 1 day. Lol.
