Curious, did they give a reason?I asked my dealer about using Super UDT and they said I shouldn't.
You might ask your Alaska dealer what they recommend for the cold.

Update
Put in J20d fluid about three weeks ago. Got it from a local John Deere dealer and it was much cheaper than the alternatives in my area. Works SOOOO much better in cold now. -10 f is no big deal.
