Exclusive: Here's Where Americans Are Using Starlink's Satellite Internet Service. It's somewhat perplexing that urban areas are included because the plan (according to Starlink) is to cover rural areas only. :confused3:

The counties shown for MN and WI are all fairly rural or at least suburban. Washington county MN has some typical higher density suburbs closer to the Twin Cities (west part of the county) and is fully rural/farm/large lot residential to the east side. And often no broadband access in the east side or crappy DSL service at best.

Paid the $99 and got the same BS message everyone gets about when it will be available. Seems it does not matter where you are located it is mid to later this year.....and that is BS. It is a money grab to help their cash flow but worth to me if it puts me a bit ahead in line.

I will post here when I get the system.

You and I have some skin in the game now is the way I look at it. I want their product and they need help funding it. I am good with that. All of us may/may not have their product mid to late 2021 but I am willing to wait and may even get a better product than currently advertised by then.

It is still a beta product. From what I am gleaning the coverage and availability seem to be linked towards how close you are to a StarLink ground based cell at this moment.

I have friends just to the south and west of me, 20 minute drive time, that all are on StarLink. We all sit on the 38 degree coverage area.

Did they get connected recently? I thought they were still limited to northern U. S.

One of the earlier links showing their counties covered in Michigan, Otsego county had Starlink. That is where I am located, and shooterdon is too, or maybe he is one county over. Michigan also showed some is southeast counties of Michigan. Jon

I signed up for my Starlink account. Paid the 99.00.
Been trying to locate the customer service contact.
1... does anyone have the contact email or phone number?
2. Where do i find the add-on accessories for the hardware?

Gotcha. They have three accessories. A pole mount adapter, a roof mount plate/post and a through-wall cable kit (grommets, drill bits, cable clips, silicone). Each are $24.
