Good morning!!!!

Could'a saved a bunch standing on the top of an 8' step ladder. Would'a just reached!

Just kidding, that was money well spent. 🤣

Now what else are you gonna use that lift for before you take it back on Monday?
Be careful on ladders. At 72 I am extra wary now. I haven't got the balance I used to have. About 2 months ago my neighbour whose house is a high level with a porch about 15 feet off the ground stood up on the railing trying to fix some shade cloth. Unfortunately he slipped and fell the 18 feet or so and landed on his head. Lucky he is not a quadraplegic but he was close too it. Even now he has brain problems. He can't think and gets severe headaches. He had a massive contusion on his head and gravel scraped face etc. Ambulance took him to hospital for a couple of days for observation.

I used the man lift when I installed the lights last year. For the two fixtures I'll just need 10' step ladder and my rolling ladder. They'll hang from beams (purlins) about 12' above the shop floor.

Aha, that would be great for me. I'll borrow it after you have done the job. :)
It has wheel brakes?

Hey Don (or anyone)
If you get a decent Verizon signal, check out Visible.com
My referral : 3lt6cD
Join a Party and then $25/month.

I'm very curious to see if the service is truly unlimited. Visible may not themselves throttle the data, but Verizon retains the right to do so in their contract with Visible. And from what I've been reading about similar services, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint/T-Mobil will throttle at somewhere over 60 Gb/month. (none of them publish the exact figure).

At 45, I'm starting to be leary of ladders and pitched slopes. I cleaned the gutters with a blower and just walk around the edge. The steeper pitch of the garage roof gives me issues now. A couple years ago I walked around up there like a Billy goat and never gave it a second thought.

Supposedly so.
I got it on my old iphone 6s with idea to put sim in my Mofi for internet. Worked but I was only getting 3-4 mbps as Mofi doesn’t get Band 66 and my tree obstruction. I ended up taking sim from my Unite Explorer and put in Mofi and very pleased. Just hope it lasts until I can get Starlink.
As I took the Explorer out of my truck, I replaced with the iphone because it gets different coverage than my AT&T iphone as a backup. Figure at $25/month, no contract, I can just cancel anytime I’m not happy. God knows, I’ve wasted more on less.
Using the refund I got from 4GAS made it even sweeter.

They due limit Hotspot data to 5 mbps. Latency is higher than ATT.

My cottage tenant is having success using his in his 4GAS modem for internet. Cottage has better placement for Verizon vs ATT.

Another friend switched his iphone because Version throttling was killing him. Guess it’s working out as he just switched his GF.

Pricing note.
Using the referral code gets 1st month at the $25. Joining a party gets subsequent months at reduced rate. I joined an existing party that reduces to $25. So did my friends.

I’m 74 and have spent some time on both ladders and roof of late. I too have noticed I’m not nearly as confident nor agile. My PV panels need a good power washing, but I’m seriously considering making a platform/cage for my FEL instead.

Same thing happened to another brand phone I had. I turfed it. I have a new Huawei that I never use as it's too big. I love my 5 year old SE and my wife has an old 6S. Both going well. I will get a new SE if I need to eventually.
I use the Huawei for photos and videos.

If you have Xfinity/Comcast you can’t beat their cell service,it overlays Verizon.
Ron will tell you the same thing.

Bird, I hope your medicine works. I miss Harvey too.

Good evening all. 51F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Frontal passage about 12, overcast thicken and patches of drizzle. High temp was 61F at the frontal passage. Low temp at midnight 47F. Puttered, then went shopping. bike ride after lunch, hit patch of drizzle, got wet and quit, was not dressed for wet today, only got 10 miles in. Did get nap.

Kyle my buzzbomb (Campbell Hausfield) has to be 20-25 yo. Should I buy a new one and gid rid of the old one while it works?
Glad you got your nap. I guess they just don't build buzzbombs like they used to.....Keep your buzzbomb, just don't keep it plugged in. And I would guess it's in it's ninth life. Thank you for the prayers BTW.
New Dell pc shows up any day now.
Two year warranty against gremlins
After 8 years this current pc is seriously clogged up with with accumulated baggage, huge timely boot process, slowing down.
New one is fast and 500MB SSD and 2 TB storage. Hard to imagine outgrowing that.
Plus a much better video board to optimize this better monitor. Though it does say 3840x2160 when I right click the screen.

now to work on the Klipsch speakers and see what cable I'm missing, likely a simple stereo RCA.
Should be a doozy. I keep seeing an ad for refurbished Klipsch speakers on the side of some pages I visit. Their refurbished prices are just as high, or higher, than the new stuff they have at Wallyworld or online.

I too, am getting leary of ladders. I was never afraid of heights. I told y'all a couple of months ago I used a scissor lift, and got dis oriented looking straight up at some bulbs. Whew, I was thankful to have a perimeter of steel bars to hold me in.

I got a lot of piddly things done. Got the tire pressure sensor installed on my SUV and got it reprogrammed. Yeah, all the warning lights are off again....today.

Took the wifey on a belated Valentines day lunch. Had shrimp. They were good.

So before our ice age down here in Texas, we had a LOT of robins hanging around. Then during the ice age, they vanished. Now they are back. They like the close cut field that the Steiner Beast mowed before the ice age.

We have as many ducks on our pond as I've ever seen. Not sure why. I hope they eat duckweed. Yesterday, maybe a hundred birds....today maybe 50.

rs, is that your cat's new friend? How big?

With your Visible how well does the caller ID work,
especially for callers not in your contacts?

Probably more like a potential intruder that needs to guarded against.

Squeak is all about protecting the home front ... especially when it doesn't actually involve any fighting ... ;)

Pretty good sized - looked to be an adult, maybe young adult.

Not the biggest I've seen though.

Have not seen any Robins here yet ... wouldn't be surprised if they show up this coming week when the highs hit the 60's.

Enjoy the ducks while you got 'em.

No clue. Haven’t given out the number so any incoming calls have been not for me. Pretty sure I saw one that was the standard, number/location format. Even my regular phone I rarely answer an unknown number.

I have used it for email and imessage as it is set up on my apple id.
