The EA grapples look appealing.
Gave them a call today.
13 week build time across the board-wow!
You have to stop and ask your self why the 13 week wait. EA grapples are the best and well worth the wait.

I've had my 72" twin lid several years now. Zero issues. I have hundreds of hours clearing cedar trees, loading rocks, loading concrete chunks ect. The "Wicked Twin" stays on the tractor most of the time.

EA makes very good stuff but it was more than double the price. My grapple gets 30-40 hours of use a year, and I knew that when I purchased it. That limited use, and knowing I was not going to do heavy work, made it difficult to justify the additional investment.

Sometimes good enough is good enough. I had the same issue when I bought the LS tractor. Really wanted a Kubota, but I saved about $10,000 with the LS. With the savings, I bought a $4000 pull blower (vs $8000 front blower), $1000 tree/post puller. $1000 grapple, and $500 pallet forks and this year will be adding a land grader ($1500), and a new hydraulic rear blade ($2000).

Neither my tractor or any of the attachments are top of line. But for a hobby user (100 hr/yr) on 20 acres I can handle most of my needs with what I can afford. I saved over $20,000 by compromising. Maybe buying the best would have been the "right" thing to do. But I am far better off with what I have than what I started with.

If the OP is going to do 100+ hours a year of heavy work, a $2500 grapple is a better fit. Some users have lesser needs.

Have checked out Horst(HLA)-a little heavy, but available.
Virnig-real nice stuff,but 3+months.
Kubota dealer getting Landpride SGC0660 in 5-6 weeks.
They will put my name on one,but won't be obligated if I don't like.
Looks decent on paper-250#,good steel.

Will most likely go this way as decent quality and acceptable delivery time fit my situation.
Never thought there would be so much demand!
Thanks again for your comments!

My Landpride has been reliable as well. Could not wait for an EA.

Getting a new L2501 before months end.
Will be grapple ready.
What does everybody like for smaller grapples?

I see MTL grapples seem to be the price leader.
Everything Attachments and Landpride also out there.

Thank you in advance for your comments!
I have a Kubota 2501 and have been using the Anbo 65"GR30-HC-6" this is the perfect fit for that machine. Anbo is on the higher end of the scale and I guess that is why so many grapples out there look like theirs. If your working with a lot of small branches, roots and other small debris, I would steer away form anything with jagged lower tines. Small debris hangs up and sometimes having to shake to dislodge them. Kubota 2501 64GR30-HC-6-1.jpgKubota 2501 64GR30-HC-6-2.jpgKubota 2501 64GR30-HC-6.jpg20210301_073316.jpg
