Randy, UTV situation must be frustrating. They don’t sound motivated to sell. Maybe an employee has eye on it and you need to involve higher supervisor. Maybe you directly inquire from Coleman? Maybe with a Bill of Sale they’d be willing to issue new paperwork? I’d likely CC the dealer a copy.

Just sorted through my junk email folder and found that Butte County is now offering CV19 vaccine to those 50 years and older. I'm signed up to get the Moderna vaccine next Tuesday, then a month later for the second dose. The email was received last night at about 5:30PM, but there was nothing on the local news broadcast about it. Which might explain why there were still appointment slots available...

Good morning.
It’s 32 with a high of 45 and breezy with clear skies.
Tempest says we got 3/4” of rain yesterday, the Davis reported 0”, so I guess trouble shooting that is on today’s to do list. I was looking forward to the comparison, it’s the first rain event since I installed the Tempest. All other parameters track well between them.

Yesterday was spent mostly in the shop, but I did go to the auto parts store for wiper blades for the wife’s RAV4. I think that I’m one of those old guys that remembers buying gas for under a quarter a gallon, and was appalled to pay fifty bucks for a pair of wiper blades. I’ve adjusted to $3 a gallon gas, but the wiper blades caught me by surprise.

Mine is opposite. Tempest says .7 yesterday while Davis is 1.11 last 24 hrs, 0 since midnight. They have been inconsistent. Ordered a tune up kit for the Davis so maybe next week I can get better results.

$600 was the full amount of the second stimulus check. Did anyone else get a letter?

Edit - I just saw on the post office e-mail that I'm getting a letter from the Treasury Dept today.

Got the $600 (times 2) letter same day we got latest stimulus.

every time I buy wiper blades regardless of assurances online they never fit.
This time I went to auto parts place and for twelve bucks a piece they installed Bosch wipers while I waited.

lovely day out, got the electric fence installed but not turned on, has to charge up for several days.

Pretty nice day 42F. Gusty wind this morning has settled down.

Got my second Pfizer shot yesterday. Shot clinic put on by Blue Cross. Pretty well run. Less than 10 min. to get the shot then 15 min. in the waiting room.
Feeling a little sluggish today and maybe a little achy but it is hard to tell if it is everyday achy or shot achy.
Hard to know exactly what the shots get me except if I get infected I shouldn't get bad sick.
Hopefully they will let us know when to begin the party.

Chris

Didn't fit into the planned obsolescence scheme ... IOW: bad for the bottom line (someone's ... but not necessarily your's)

I too was astonished the last I bought a set ... was upwards of $30 or $40 IIRC ...

I can remember selling Anco and Trico refills for like $3 or $4 ... per set ... o_O
Me too. I used to buy boxes of refills and they were cheap. However, I priced some for my Honda the other day and at Super Cheap they are over $40 each! Oh well, they have lasted me since I bought the car in 2008 as it rarely rains here.

I did my research.

Ahhh ... well ok then.

Since you've already done the research, would you care to provide us with a comparative sampling of consumer power costs across Texas ?

It proved my point- green energy is the most expensive electricity in Texas.

If you are basing that on the bond (debt) your local provider had to issue, due to unforeseen energy market price spikes that they (and no one else apparently) predicted, it presumes Georgetown is/was able to source 100% of it's power needs from renewable "green" energy, then probably nope.

Personally, I'd guess, at this point, how any debt burden (due to those unforeseen price spikes) is going to play out is probably unclear for many Texas energy providers ... not just Georgetown.

Regardless of whether they source the energy they sell from renewable "green" sources ... or fossil fuels.

Yep, we got a letter in mid-February saying we should get/have gotten that stimulus back on 1/1/21. The newer direct deposit hit the account 2 days ago.

Did you say 10 years to pay off the freeze?

I got the same letter last month. My $600 came by check.

The first stimulus took several weeks, but I got the second on the first day they were released. Haven’t heard on this one and the website is useless.

Today at 5 is the deadline I gave TSC on the UTV, I’m already looking again.
