Trimmer. Just using the 131R Kombi. Here’s my arsenal;

The Blade works exceptionally well. However, I’ve named it “the spinning blade of death”. I haven’t done any property damage slinging rocks, but, I’ve taken rocks to my arms and legs and it’s like being shot by a high-power pellet/bb gun. It’ll cut small rocks in half and easily take down any saplings an 1 1/2” or smaller. It’s a beast! I’ve taken some good shots to my face protection as well. Regardless, it’s the best attachment I have.

Ok, I see it must be the one on the lower part of the picture with the blade tips bent down.
I can see how it would do a job like that.

Yes, blade tips are turned down and chew up anything that’s cut by the main blades. Amazing cutter.

Funny that where ever you use your equipment, sure changes what works or doesn't. I'm referring that we tried steel bladed cutters and got tired of all the sparks coming off of the rocks we hit. Yes, we have rocks everywhere in this glaciated country.

We are so happy with our Stihl KM 131R kombi, we are looking to get another this summer.

Agreed. We have plenty of rocks in the soil and I get plenty of sparks and premature wear on my blades but, this blade annihilates brush. As unnerving as it is, I’m willing to deal with the compromise.
