I got the old mud hornets nests cleared out the hole on the bottom front end of the Tractor to access the crank. I'll probably sound like an idiot, but the best way I can describe it as is a large 7 point star point hole that I need something to stick in it to try to turn it with a breaker bar - there's not a bolt to put a standard socket on. Can anyone point me in the correct direction to get one of those? If you know the name of the tool and the size I need, that would be even better!

So are you saying it looks like a torx bit screw driver, just a big one?
The bolt heads that are torx shaped the sockets are E-XX. Then the number is like the torx bit size. Sorry I have no clue as to the size of the bolt head.
Good luck with it!

When all else fails pull the starter and use a pry bar on the flywheel.

Sounds like you could double your chances by using a second person on the other side tire to help rock it. We always let it sit for a couple days and rocked it with 2 people. It will work loose. And yes can be quite a workout!!
I have pulled out a couple tractors overgrown with blackberries and seized. Pulled the plugs and loaded the cylinders with atf and whatever solvent laying around. Dont put the plugs back in. Doesnt damage anything by over filling because the oil will get pushed out once it starts turning over. When free add some more ATF just to flush out any crap in the cylinders. Crank for a while, drain the oil, replace the plugs and start it. There wont be any chance of hydraulicing. It does make a mess though by pushing oil into the exhaust, smokes for a while.

I cant help think using a crank bolt to force it would be a great idea. For one the bolt isnt sized and strong enough to withstand a great amount of torque. Also by reversing force it just loosens the bolt. Worse case if the bolt breaks you will have much greater problems.
Towing it you might get lucky, worse case may score a cylinder (or worse).

Yep that's correct, looks just like a torx bit, but I assumed it wasn't one due to the age, guess that's what I get for thinking! I'll see if I can't find a way to determine the size so I know what to buy, appreciate it.

As said before, using the crankshaft nut may not be a good idea buts it’s tempting. You will either be over-tightening the nut, loosening it, or stripping it out. Or worse. Have you tried a 2x4 under the rear wheel as a cheater bar for rocking it?

No, I haven't tried that yet. May give that a shot this evening if the grounds not too wet, appreciate the idea. Wish I had a second person who could help me rock it but unfortunately don't.

What happens when you break off a tooth or two?
Very, very unlikely to happen unless you act like King Kong and even then it is unlikely to happen.

I have had good luck pulling the head, poring oil on top of the pistons and let it sit for an hour or so. Then using a block of wood and a hammer to drive down on the piston that is highest. Usually will break free with little effort.

Once free, I rotate the engine through several times and soak up any remaining oil off of the cylinder before going back together.

This is the quickest way I know even though it requires some wrenching.
