Rich, had a female cat like that years ago. First few times I fell for it before realizing I was doing. Then when she started yelling “FEED ME” at 0 dark 30 I’d get up and put her outside. Didn’t take too long and she quit. It wasn’t she needed to go out, we have a doggie door for that.

Stateline is 50F in the sun and no wind. Take a step into the wind and it's in the low 40s. Plan to disc harrow the 5 garden plots. Run the Cub Cadet rear tiller machine on 2 gardens. Could take all afternoon. They are huge. And the DW and kids will be planting onions, carrots, spinach, and other things.

The other 3 gardens just turning the compost over and over till it blends in nicely. The long one will be only for potatoes. I need something on the YM2610 to make the trench and hills. Last year by hand was crazy. Heavy Hitch has a really nice product. I already have a SQ bar on the 3PT. So, just adding the other items would work.

Need more sun. Rains are coming too. Getting the compost turned prior really helps with the rains adding in the moisture and the nitrogen.

Went out and mowed weeds off my garden. Was going to put tiller on, but am too tired now.

Went out this morning and started trimming back forsythia. This one had been to the edge of the leaves.

Then got out ZT to move it out of the way, ended up mowing the front yard. Then got the massey out, it started right up after sitting all winter. Put on RFM and mowed around the trimmed forsythia. Apparently didn’t have the PTO shaft all the way on, as it came unhooked while mowing. I never had that happen before. Then why I was messing with it, couldn’t get the tractor to go forward or backwards. Finally realized the high low level wasn’t fully engaged in either, also never had that happen. Was going to hook up tiller, but decided to change car oil first. Now I’m about to fall asleep. 53° out.

Markers are on the blade (see this morning's post) and the snow blade is staged until next winter. Also picked up all the branches that came down during the last several weeks and started a chipping pile.
The blocks where I keep the snow blower were frozen and had no cinder blocks available, so maybe in another week or two.
I marked some trees I'll need to take down or trim before mowing the field (again, in a few weeks...maybe a month)
Did rearrange things in the garage to make it a bit more orderly...but I really do need to get rid of some stuff I never use...
Pretty good day, altogether...time for some chow and a beer...

Must be an MF thing, I had the shaft on the MMM come out of the PTO a couple of times last year when I first put the deck on. I wasn’t getting the lock ring clicked in good I guess.
I got the deck all ready except lubing the casters. I also found the center roller had a bent bracket and was dragging so I fixed that. I’m going to try and get it installed and mow Monday or Tuesday.

Good evening to all! High temp today hit 83! Dry, dry, and more dry..... no precipitation in the forecast, well maybe a couple of days at 10-20%.

I have been battling a few problems.... the knee swells, then not swelled, but far more painful.... Some days better than others. PT has been slow and easy. There are 2 tendons / ligaments that keep "popping" during movement.

Then there is the B/P issue.... even doubling the med dosage has not been able to control it. Up and down like a roller coaster! Sometimes really high at rest, sometimes "normal" during exertion.... sometimes the opposite.... cannot get it under control.

We / I have tried to reduce all forms of stress (hard to do with the knee pain).
Sleeping has been almost non existent for last week and a half, only getting a few hours a night... not sure if it's pain or the B/P issue...

So, with all that going on, I really feel like I have been through the wringer....

Morning to all, actually evening!!
Haven't accomplished much the last couple of days,
been contemplating a new truck but the dealers are in the cat birds seat at this time, so no go.
Then I stumbled acrossed a used one that pretty much did the job.
I had been debating with myself if I was going to stay with the 3.0 liter diesels or not.
I'm going to miss the mileage of the diesels but picked up a 2019 RAM Laramie down in Connecticut
today drove down and looked at it yesterday and made the deal back down today to pick it up.
My eco diesel pulled 25-26 mpg on the trips this gas V8 5.7 did 18 mpg on the same road at the same speeds,
but she is a pretty thing;

Hard to find this trim level with a bench seat and 18" wheels,
I really dislike the low profile 20 and 22 inch rims on a pickup.

The reports overall are looking good and covid numbers are still decreasing.

You realize you just linked to a site that has a disclaimer that says:

”As of March 7, we are no longer collecting new data. Learn about available federal data.”

... right ?

Just a thought:

If you’re gonna link to COVID stats and then claim numbers are “still decreasing”, (a claim which is, in fact, NOT ACCURATE for the US as a whole, as shown in the CDC link below) maybe try going with info that isn’t quite so stale ?

Like this:

The other issue is:

How much testing is actually being done at this point ?

Less testing will likely show ... (wait for it) ... less cases ...

No big surprise there.

The doom and gloom people are having to look harder and harder to find their narrative.

Yeah ... and the terminally delusional are still pushing misinformation that has potential to cost at least some people their lives.

Don’t be a part of that crowd.
