That's kind of what I was getting at, but there were a couple of other fellows who seemed to think otherwise. That cutter in the pic is not a FM. FMs have lawn mower blades like the Befco. That cutter is a bush hog with sling out blades and stump jumpers.
I stand corrected, I missed the post saying that he had gone to a Landpride batwing and thought he had gotten the 15' Befco.I guess I have never seen a turf batwing with stump jumpers , I would have thought the mower he bought would be a rough cut batwing, no belts, stump jumpers, but you learn something new on here everyday, the mower he bought would be considered a rough cut in my opinion.
I agree, I came so close to buying that 15 ft Befco, but the dealer thought I would be better off with the Land Pride rotary. Only mowed once about 20 acres, but the cut is amazing.Yea, the Befco is definitely a FM. My Frontier 20 footer is a Befco. They are great machines.
I would like to see more pics Wolf . . . the couple you posted were really nice for the rotary.I agree, I came so close to buying that 15 ft Befco, but the dealer thought I would be better off with the Land Pride rotary. Only mowed once about 20 acres, but the cut is amazing.
I hear you I have both BH, FM and a 3rd that I use the most a flail . . .The thing about the bush hog is it is more versatile. I use both of mine quite a bit. The FM is good for only one thing.
