Not much to show, this hemlock is going to be a little bit of the lumber for the sawmill building on that area.

Rob was that a lightning strike on that 1st tree? What a mess, I would have made the same call for some assistance.

Nice rig. Is that a custom cab? I like all but the beacon (if that is what I think I see).

Thats what I need to do, I have a big pile in my saw yard I need to burn... but its been a very windy dry spring so far. Finally got an inch of rain yesterday, might try tomorrow.

Yep. I just did a burn pile couple weeks ago. Not too huge to start. Winter stuff that had fallen as well as some leaf bags from the city place.

Maybe I’m a tad strange but I feel pretty good once a burn pile is gone!

Not strange at all. A burn pile sitting and waiting always feels like a liability to me.

I took down 20-some trees last weekend. Buried the stumps, stacked the logs, and now need to burn off the pile of tops. Wish I could let them dry out for a month or more, but the pile is in the way!!

That's like me when I see a board with nails sticking out of it. In the early '70s I was with my father as we checked out the addition being built onto our camp. When he noticed a board with nails sticking out of it he said "Dick Clifford (a contractor who did a lot of work for my father) would never allow that. It's quicker to pound those nails back than to take a ride to the ER."
To this day I always pound the nails back any time I'm deconstructing anything.
