Here I go again.......:) The belt on my belly mower on my e Max 25 came apart. Called the Dealer, Monroe Tractor to order a replacement only to be told they no longer carry the Mahindra line. Wish they had sent something out telling us that. Anybdy else in NY or other areas that bought their tractors there and found out like I didi?
Anyway, rant over. Looking for a replacement belt. I did order one from a supplier on Norwich NY but I think we all know how long that will take. Plus the cost is $130. Has anyone had to replace theirs and if so how didi you find one that fits?
Thanks
Mike
I've taken measurements from belts that's broke on me and went to auto zone, napa , and told em I needed a utility belt in the size, most times the had it but in the longer belts like On my yanmar 155 (may it rest in peace) mower I had to wait a couple days.

Don't know what belt the OP has, but it's very unlikely an auto parts store would have the one on my MMM: A117/02 Banded Belt 1/2 x 119in OC 2 Band

I checked all over the web and NO one had the 2 band version I needed. Ended up using 2 single band belts which have been working fione so far. I might have been able to find those locally but probably not in the blue kevlar I wanted.

Dealer wanted $122 and had them in stock, but they were the same rubber ones that had disintegrated on me. Found the two single kevlars for about $20 each, so both of them were still about 60% below the dealer belt.

The farm store around here has a wall of belts in all HP rating, widths, and lengths in 1/2" increments. Just take it in and they measure it and pick the closest one off the wall.
Midniteoyl,
Hardly a day goes by that I don't read a reply and have my curiosity get the better of me to know where the person who replied lives. It's been a long tie since I've seen a wall of belts and when I read your message I was curious to know if you lived in a farm state. Thanks for including your location. I believe Indiana to be a farm state. :)

I took my old belt to NAPA. Replacement was a snap. SIGNIFICANTLY less than a OEM JD belt. But, alas, the new belt didn't have JD stamped on it. I can live with that.

So you are carrying around a giant load that's really pulling you down, I understand.
