Perhaps not worth posting, but just a simple way to keep the drawbar from rotating while moving a small trailer.
Would like to see your method or perhaps aftermarket devices for doing the same.

Your "real" drawbar is right behind that bar. Just chain to it with enough slack to allow you to lift, perhaps

You’ll bend the screw in the clamp. It doesn’t take much and then they’re worthless.

Really easy to ruin "C" clamps..

Slightly more permanent but remove's with horizontal draw bar....ITs just a piece of 2x2x1/4 angle iron...

Not sure what is meant by your second sentence.

The chain keeps the 3 point trailer hitch from raising up too high and causing an accident as reported in many threads here in the past.

Should not be a problem with a empty lightweight trailer.

The chain and bracket attach to the tractor drawbar.

Like Xfaxman said... Though I do like some of those simple brackets people made. Those are pretty slick.

Yep, you might have a bar, but it isn't a draw bar when on a 3 point hitch.
Use the real one when towing...zero reason not to

But then you’d have to manually operate the trailer jack. If done properly using the 3 ph is fine.
like you should..... Using only 2 points and any makeshift braces only encourages damage to your trailer hitch and possibly the tractor when it gets away.

They make a lock for these drawbars. However they only work if your lift arms are normal thin ones, not extendable.
The drawbar goes through the square cut out, and the C channel section goes around the lift arm and its secured by the bolt.
