What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

I consider myself patriotic and I still watch pro football!

Fact is, I don't need to mention that, nor does anyone else who feels that they need to let people know why they don't watch pro sports ;)

Just glad I couldn't watch the Eagles preseason game last night with Pittsburgh.

The fact is that kneeling etc. players are forcing their political creed on the live audience and the TV audience...
It does not matter one iota what those kneeling players etc. think they are expressing...to many they are disrespecting the nation and its anthem which is exactly what they are dong regardless of what they think...
IMO those players etc that kneel during the national anthem need to be woken up to realize that just because they have a captive audience...they don't have the right to express their personal political beliefs to said captive audience...

IMO, true patriots do not ignore disrespect for nation symbols...

When the national anthem is playing, aren't those taking images of those "disrespecting the flag" disrespecting the flag themselves by NOT looking at the flag?

Heck, half the American population doesn't know the lyrics and 3/4 of the population doesn't know how to fly the flag.

GO EAGLES BABY!!!

At least we have one thing in common, we like the Eagles. After that, not much lol. They looked ok in the 1st 1/2.
Philly boy all my life and been to many games, but no remaining desire, just passing interest in how they are doing.
I left the fan club after Doug & Nick were gone. 2 pretty good guys and good Christians that beat the GOAT.
Now? Who gives a crap.

I really like Jalen Hurts as a person - but am worried about him as a QB.

It’s all about the QB these days in all levels of football.

My 4 favorite football teams....

1 - My "hometown" team pro team of Philly
2 - My alama mater in college
2 - Whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys
3 - Whoever is playing Alabama

Ironcially enough, Tom Laundry and Bear Bryant I couldn't help but not respect those men when I was growing up watching football.

I remember Hurts in college under Saban (sp?). I personally thought he got the biggest screwover as a college QB as I'd ever seen given how far he had helped the team in Alabama.

Got stuck watching New England game last night with my dad, but from what I saw, Hurts didn't look to bad last night.

Think the reason why I like the eagles so much is when my father was in South East Asia for a couple of tours, I spent the weekends at my uncles and his 4 boys, and they were all Eagles fans. Also had a uncle who worked in Philly and we'd go down to the games at the vet and he'd give us the grand tours around town. Kind of "imprinted" on me as a kid I guess. That said, Philly fans can be nothing more than a bunch of a holes at the stadium.

At the end of the day, pro sports don't put a penny into my pocket, and I paid my alma mater to attend school, but either way, win or lose in sports on the teams I follow, it really doesn't make me more happy or more mad by the next day.

Some of these football forums and the people are just plain nuts IMO LOL

100% correct. It’s ungrateful, disrespectful and honestly, it’s harmful to the very [woke] organization they play for. Many fans, myself one of them, are turned off by the woke anti American garbage.
I remember after we were attacked on 9/11 police, fire and military we’re the toast of the town. Football players had them come out onto the field, speak glowingly of them, treat them as heros.
Now the practically spit in their faces and want nothing to do with them.

True dat
Coach and QB are 50% of the teams ability to succeed.
That’s why where Brady goes, championships follow.
I listen to Philly talk radio all day and the big news on Hurts is they won’t officially name him “starting QB”.
Speculation is they still may have interest in DeShaun Watson, but the asking price is crazy
The Eagles QB situation has a strange history. In 9 of their last 10 seasons ending in playoffs, a backup QB has been instrumental in their success (most notably Nick Foles in their only Super Bowl win, and further back in time, Jeff Garcia to name a few.
