Yes, the lack of any towing capacity has been a big problem for many potential EV buyers, small trailers is incredibly common here in Norway.View attachment 709834
This trailer is older than I am. I inherited it from my dad. Originally it had a wooden bed, but my dad replaced that with steel when the wood rotted. With maintenance it's good for another century or two.

Even AAA gets it wrong. Pressure increases faster in N2 filled tires because the thermal mass of N2 is less than air. Takes more energy to raise air 1°C than N2. Its really significant, like 32 PSI air, 32.1 PSI N2.

And another thing, "pure N2" fill is a myth because you never see the tire evacuated of air before the N2 hose is connected. You see this before filling your air conditioner.

I would be curious as to the type of demographic of Tesla buyers right now, and if it is a narrow demographic, whether that customer base can assume to apply to the rest of North America. Eg a certain narrow demographic buys a Porsche, a certain narrow demographic wants a super safe Volvo. A certain demographic buys Pickups , one replaces the previous one for our 60 yrs of driving we get ( thats me) ...
Tesla, and similar models will not be wanted by us all.

Yep. I always let people pass me if they want to. I expect the same courtesy from others, but, hey, you know how that goes. So if they don't let me in by speeding up, I back off and move back in behind them. Then they slow down again, I try to pass again, they do it again, I back off again. Third time, I pull behind them, back off and call the cops and give them a description of the car and license number. ;)
Two lane road, if I pull out to pass you, you get passed even if I have to run it up to 80. But I’m coming back down to 2 mph over your previous speed. On multiple lane roads I don’t care, we’ll all get there eventually.

On Interstate, the most fun is lane wanderers. If you cross the line into my lane, I’m not moving. When they realize and swerve back, I go with. Absolute favorite: knocking on the passenger window of the line hugger, at highway speed.

I don't play games behind the wheel. If I get behind somebody driving erratically I'll either get past them ASAP, or back off. Last week I left the interstate an exit before I wanted to because of the way that somebody was driving; all over both lanes, speeding up and passing me then slowing down so that I had to go past him again. I think that he was just fooling around, but I decided that if he was going to crash I wanted to be a long, LONG ways away from him.
