I spend a lot of time listening to spotify. I grew up on 60-80s rock and 90s country.
But it all gets old and looking for new stuff.

I just stumbled onto "Home Free" and like the their version of Seven Bridges by the Eagles.

Looking for ideas and hoping others will share what they listen to either music or podcasts.
IF there is a thread already here, I couldn't find it so please post it you know where it is.

Good harmonies. I listen to SiriusXM a lot. I can't remember the channel, but it favors mellow rock vocal harmonies. I also have about 30 gb of MP3s on a micro SD on my cell phone. I ripped my whole CD collection. I haven't gotten around to ripping my vinyl yet, but expect it to fill up the 64 gb card. I also listen to a lot of books on Audible. Bluetooth ear buds and a cell phone let me work in the shop or hike in the hills without being stuck to one location for my entertainment.

I have 7 Bridges in an audio only format on one of their concert DVDs. You can walk up to each of the 5 speakers on my surround sound and hear each member singing on their own speaker. Way cool, I’ve never heard anything like it.

I too have a ton of music ripped to MP3. Back when I used iTunes it said to play everything it would take 27 days!

Now I use Amazon Prime’s streaming component.

If you already subscribe to Prime, you get unlimited (commercial ad free) access to just about everything out there. The cost is $7.99 a month. I should also point out this is UHD (ultra high definition) The music is in FLAC format which is lossless.

You can hardly buy a CD for what this costs for 2 months service.

Here is another value. Many artists are going through their old catalog and remastering the source tapes. Many are releasing collector sets with bonus tracks. Those cost a fortune to purchase, I have access to it all, on the cheap.

I stream the music on my phone either using the on board speaker, a cheap Bluetooth speaker or my Bose Bluetooth earbuds when I sit on the mower or while walking.

I have on old iPad taken out of retirement that streams to the pool speakers.

So now I’ve been doing deep dives on all my favorites, including solo projects and live albums I didn’t know existed.

I subscribe to all the bands I like and get notifications when they have new releases. Wether it’s one song or an entire album.

To answer the OP’s question?

Everything ;-)

I get by with a cheap set of JBL ear buds. In a noisy environment, like on the tractor or lawnmower, I wear muffs over my ears to cut noise. Of course there is no streaming in the field, so what's on the cell phone is what I listen to. In the olden days, before SDXC, I set up a low power FM transmitter that would reach most places, and fed it with a 100 disc Seeburg record changer. We only get two OTA radio stations at my place, so I wasn't concerned about interfering with commercial broadcasts.

I listen to mostly Country from older CD’s my son somehow got into my phone and can then wirelessly go into headphones he bought. It is amazing how well it all works. Magic!

Mostly Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Garth, Kenny and George Strait. But there are several more.

If I’m really in a good mood I also have some Elton John, Billy Joel and Madonna!

I have some very wide ranging musical tastes. Some stuff many of you may not have heard...
If you like Paul Simon's Graceland, these may have some appeal:
Johnny Clegg and Savuka - South African
Ladysmith Black Mambazo - large group mostly a Capella
Brenda Fassie - no idea what the words meaning but it is uplifting to me

If you like vocals try these:
The Nylons
Pentatonix- local group from Arlington, TX that made it big
Straight, No Chaser

For country music, I am partial to 70-80s stuff. My friends dad was the GM of our local AM station and we heard a lot back in the day:

Waylon and Willie
Johnny Cash
Hoyt Axton

And Southern Rock:
ZZ Top
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Stevie Ray Vaughn
