Nice looking bobcat. Their coloring is so variable.
We coexist pretty happily with our bobcats; we typically have two that hunt around opposites sides of the property. They seem have learned where the dog fence is, and mostly stay outside of it, although this year we did have a young one come exploring in the yard. I think it jumped downslope off a retaining wall, and then took a few minutes to explore and figure out fences before it left.
Frankly, anything that preys upon small rodents (mice, rats, ground squirrels) is very welcome here for two reasons; one it keeps the rodent damage to a dull roar, and two, it keeps down the rattlesnake population.
