Well, guess it could be worse, could be a Florida State fan. Lost on the last play of the game, 59 yard pass that was caught around the 15 yard line, two defenders around the reciever after he caught the ball, yet he still made it into the end zone.

It was worse for Texas.

Arkansas took them to the wood shed.

I thought the Saints were out of it this year after so many of their top players left but after watching them annilate the Packers by the most their quarterback has ever been beaten, I have to say that I think they will be in the playoffs this year after all.

I happened to look up when Packers had the ball and the score was -3 to 38 I said, looks like the Packers are minus three now, that's pretty bad. It was the possession tick on the score board, but the way had been going.....

Oh, and Seahawks looked pretty good this week-end, now if it will last past that one game.

From what I saw and read via games and highlights etc...and based on preparedness , performance and execution....in two of the very first games of the season we may have already seen the match ups that will end up being the AFC and NFC championship games (last games before the S.B.)

I.e, Chiefs versus the Browns and the Cowboys versus the Bucs..

There is a lot of football yet to be played and the players have to stay healthy...

From what I saw and heard the only other team that played at the same level for an opening game was the Saints and only time will tell if they had a little something else in their pocket for yesterdays game because of what NOLO has been through...

Anyone from the NFC east would not be my pick right now, but I wouldn't complain if the Eagles made it

Like I said...the statement was based on what I saw and read about the season opening games...

Some rustiness was expected all around and it was apparent at times but IMO the Cowboys looked pretty solid against the S.B. Champ Bucs...
If Prescott stays healthy the Cowboys are for real...but they don't play another playoff team until week 11....

There's going to be some disappointments (see GB) but I hope at least all the teams that make the playoffs have a winning season this year...

You put a lot of faith in Jimmy Jones without Jimmy Johnson.

I just don't see the NFC east anywhere near the cream of the crop. But then again, the Eagles did win one superbowl...

I thought odds were simply set where the bookmaker gets the same dollar bets on both sides.

The bookmaker takes no risk. Only a percent of both sides of the bet.
