What? The Chiefs will be there at the end. I can see some here are simply confused about their game plan. I do understand that, but it is not all that complicated. You see, the Chiefs will lose the ball, not convert on 3rd downs, until the opponent is 12 points ahead. At that point, the opponent will fall asleep on the bench (coaches) and then the Chiefs will whip the crap out of them in the last 54 seconds of the game. Now, you understand better.

The Chiefs will be let down by their joke of a defense.

Their defense doesn't look good so far. That is why the offense must convert 3rd downs and keep scoring. I am waiting for their defense to do a better job of intercepting again. For me, it is troubling to see our defense cover a receiver only to let them catch the ball and then tackle them. they need to do a better job of playing the ball once it is out of the hands of the QB. But, I am sure they know that. It is difficult to do. But they will get better. I have not lost any games so far this season. They just gave them away 2 games - fumbles. They have a lot of rookies this year. But the rookies are not the ones fumbling. Boy, bet that gets a comment!

The chiefs are nothing special...a so so team with a talented QB who is full of himself and needs to be careful not to get injured by taking too many chances trying to make something happen out of nothing wanting to be the hero...

LMAO...The "old man" hardly has to take chances and knows when and when not to take them...The Bucs are/were a highly talented team (on both sides of the ball) prior to the "old man" who's weakest point prior was a talented QB (with a tooth for crab legs) that threw as many INTs as TD's...
Injuries will always be a key ingredient for success at crunch time...staying healthy and peaking at the right time is crucial...

Well, I can't take issue with anything about your post. I agree. Let's also mention that the Chiefs have won the AFC the last 6 years. They have been to the last two Superbowls and have one one and lost one - to TB. Then, being a so so team has represented them well. Apparently there are many LESS than so so teams that did not prevent them from winning the division for all those years. Tom Brady is Exceptional. He seems to be an nice guy. Who could ever argue with that. HOWEVER, Patrick Mahomes is MUCH more than a QB who is "full of himself". He is an exception young man who has broken many records and is only two years off being a rookie. He understands sports. His father was a pro baseball player. He is well respected in the community and is a household name here in KC.
Another Exceptional young person was on tv playing against Tom Brady. That was Mac Jones. Pats QB ANOTHER rookie. Young, but talented and exceptional. Almost beat the Bucks - TB was saved by a missed field goal.

FWIW...I followed Mahomes career throughout his time at TT...I'll stand by my assessment...
The recent success of the chiefs has as much or more more to do with highly talented coaching and management as it does pure player talent...not to mention being lucky...

Mahomes came into the league as the Cinderella kid...it wasn't until they faced the Bucs in the SB that he was "welcomed to the NFL"... we'll see what happens with his pumpkin as the season progresses....
