We brought our e bikes but have stuck to paved trails. We rented UTV’s one day and rode them to a place called Chicken Corners. It’s at the end of the trail but continues on as a foot path. Pretty good drop off on one side.

One thing I didn’t expect was the extensive canyons. Not on the same level as the Grand Canyon but still very impressive.

If you enjoy that kind of scenery, hit Toroweap Point the next time you are in Utah. It is on the north rim of the Grand Canyon - but about 90 miles of dirt road south of St George. The Canyon is very narrow at this point - in this shot I am approaching the canyon rim; the other side of the canyon is visible just beyond it. There used to be a sign here advising people to hold on to their kids and their dogs - there are no fences, no restraining rails of any sort - just a sheer drop 3,500 feet down to the river.

This is the view at the Rim...you can see several rafts in the river below. Lots of trails to explore - I met a couple National Park rangers there - both on e-bikes and both carrying sidearms.

About five miles up the road from me. It's rumored that this rock was in one piece before Chuck Norris passed through on vacation one year.

A picture from a 22 mile bike ride I took yesterday. It sure looks flat but there are a lot of small hills around here, probably none more than a 100 feet of elevation change, most less. I have a bike app I use and it said had an elevation gain of 1400 feet, and the same elevation loss because I started and ended at home.
