Kubota Tractors are Tinted now

"I have insulated the floor with Kilmat everywhere I could on the floor, tried the roof but it interfered with the flow of return air so had to remove it. "

While my lid was off to replace the TX valve on the A/C, I lined it with the double-foil bubble Reflectix insulation. It's fully glued and the seams taped with some quality foil tape. I also glued some spacers in a number of places made from dense closed cell packing foam to ensure clearance in case any glue failed. So far, so good.

I really like that, we may try again this winter like you did. Mine has a different roof system and the least little interference with the air flow kills the return air. I haven't given up completely tho, yours is worth a try. TY

"Why in the world would you need tinting up North??? It gets that hot up there?"

Driving a tractor with a cab and no A/C is essentially like driving a solar panel. Opening the windows works to some extent, but I usually run with the windows closed to avoid dust, pollen, etc.
Very true!
My previous tractor had a Curtis Cab which had "heat", but no AC. Cabbed tractors get hot even in the northern climes!
Fortunately, the doors on a Curtis Cab could be removed...
The 4052 Deere I own now has a cab, but the doors cannot be removed. The rear window can be opened partially, or completely, but the cab still gets pretty hot. This tractor does have AC, which works pretty well...
I thought about tint, but since most of my snow removal is done after dark or before sunrise, don't think tint would be a good idea

George did your tint?
No! Panhandle Glass Tinting, Jacob Kornegay who used to work for George. I waited a year for George to do it and he never called back so we moved on to Jacob and very happy we did.
