Some lovely mowers/tractors in this thread. Makes mine look insignificant. Have to post a pic later as I fitted my mower back on yesterday and did a bit. Plenty more to do. I use a Flail.

I thought the same until I replaced it. The new blade was about twice as heavy and much less bent!

When we had the drought I didn't have anything to mow for about 5 years. Now it is growing flat out! Nice to have grass again.

Stripes:
I retrieved my dad’s (RIP) flail mower out of long term storage recently, aka the weeds along the overgrown fence. Later I noticed the nice stripes in the pasture from the porch. Nice side benefit to the flail, along with no windrows.

I can still remember a time when I didn't care about mowing. Now I'm consumed with it!!!!

Keep eye on the air filter also for overheating. Clogged air filter will cause overheating and many miss that.

Goldenrod is especially nasty for clogging radiators.
So nobody wants to guess what I almost hit in first picture?
