Good morning!!!!

Went to BIL’s birthday open house, he just got over Covid a few weeks ago. Spent some time with my Kiwi friend and his wife, he’s been here 27 years and still sounds like he just got off the plane from Christ Church.
Of course I’ve been here 48 years and I still sound like Gomer Pyle.

I didn’t do much today, weather was just blah, but I have things to do tomorrow. Nothing special, errands and a couple of small jobs in the house and garage.

We are going to stepdaughter’s for Thanksgiving. Except for the years we went to the Daytona Turkey Run, this will be the first year without any of my family at Thanksgiving in my life. Not looking forward to it, I’d rather stay home and eat a turkey sandwich and watch football.

Have a great evening folks.

Good evening all. 37F for the start, clear sky, calm wind. Light wind day, sky stayed clear, and high temp was 65F, DP 28F. Had some arrangements to make, then headed out to suck leaves. got 2 bags filled before trash guy picked up. Stepdaughter stopped off and visited and left care package prior to going out of town for week. After lunch went for bike ride, then mowed the leaves in back, found 5 golf balls, most in a while. Did not get a nap :( Need to start on lights soon!!

Poured first cup of hot coffee. 15° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 38° with lots of sun. Finished making all the parts for Mule pole support yesterday. Got all the parts laying out to paint. May get to that today. Off to do last of my Thanksgiving shopping this morning. Then see what I will do rest of the day.
Got a little sun on Sunday. Took this Tufted Titmouse with that sun shining on it.

24° right now...now, about 30 or so..

Got the wife duty the rest of the week, so I'll be working from home. Since I know the transfer station (i.e. dump) will be closed this weekend, I will have to make a run today or tomorrow

30 going to 46. Coldest day so far.

Roy, hope she is improving. I had wife duty last night. I took her to get her test, which was thankfully negative, and she's been feeling better, so she decided to climb the extension ladder to hang a decoration...missed the last step coming down and fell flat out on the floor...couldn't get up for a couple of minutes...I was out on the tractor, so then took a while for her to get my attention...only bruised, stiff, and embarrassed. We looked at each other and said, "Well, guess that's the official beginning of us being old." Ice packs helped a lot, and my loving attention. 😇

Otherwise, I took two steps back for every step forward on 3 projects yesterday. Thomas, is that what 2 left feet means? I'll try again today!

Ladders and old folks ain't good mix...especially old guys with gimpy legs...
Glad your wifey is OK!!!

Gotta watch Puppy Pads too! That's how my wife broke her tibia...down and out for another 6-8 weeks...
