Thinking about getting a snow plow for my Massey Ferguson 1739E.

Can I remove the hydraulics that tilt my front loader bucket and insert my two hydraulic hoses that come with the snow plow their?

Yes, but then you cant tilt the plow. Do you have any rear remotes?

Most plows use a pair of single action cylinders, LOL, just to complicate tractor installation, but do able.

Well thanks. I think I would be fine with a manual one. But Titan is out of the manual plows. Do you know any body else good at making these?

Been doing this for years. Ran two hoses to the front of the tractor. Set the curl where it works good and switch out the curl hoses with the snow plow hoses. Some year I'll get a diverter valve but till then this works fine.

Not sure on your model tractor....but if your loader valve is Regen on the curl...it ain't gonna work.

And you may want to consider a crossover relief if using a pair of SA cylinders to maybe save blowing a hose at the worst possible time.

If it's a DA cylinder....a crossover won't work. But a Regen valve will....but less than ideal. Because most plows that I have seen that use a single DA cylinder, the cylinder is on the right side. Meaning when the cylinder extends it will go left. So it's backwards...joystick right moves plow left....joystick left moves plow right. And when angling left (extending the cylinder) will be really fast....and not much power if you are trying to angle on the fly while pushing snow

When you set the curl where it works good . Does the blade flop around? Can you pull snow backwards, too?

I made an under slung mount on a SS plate that uses the original mounting points and the chain so it's the same as using on a truck. Except I can pile the snow 8' high. I have a concrete drive and it works great. Gravel drive back to my barn that I pull the snow backwards to keep the gravel on the drive. Works good too.

If the cylinders are in good shape, they won't flop around or creep. There is no where for the oil to go with the couplers unhooked. No oil movement= no cylinder movement.

But you still need to make sure you don't have a Regen valve for your curl.
