I'm asking because I still haven't got used to the poorly designed way the emergency brake is set up on the M7040. That and the driver needs to pay attention more 
I keep driving off with it still engaged so it must be taking a toll on them. I don't even know what type of brakes they are.
Yesterday while stopping from time to time to trim branches out of the way of the cab at one point I had to stop on a slight hill. I engaged the emergency brake and it wasn't enough to hold the tractor in place so I backed down to level ground. I suppose it's good practice to do that anyway but I was a little surprised it couldn't hold.
I'm guessing the rear wheels will have to come off and that could be a bit of a task with that size loaded tire. Just curious what's involved should the brake pads need to be renewed.
