If changing the hood emblem changes the manufacturer's design that would be news to me. I've saw it tried a few times.

How about if the company was purchased by another company? I think that’s a lot more change than a hood emblem.
Besides, the hood emblem or at least the nickname (Ram) wasn’t changed.

That's almost always what initiates the badge change. And eventually will make some product changes. In the case of Dodge/Ram, all I saw change was the grill.

Only you, only you. I have many friends with Dodge and Ram trucks. I have owned a Dodge and liked it just fine.

I like my Fords based on dollars invested and work return. But then all I do is light work compared to heavy operators like you.

In reality, I have no brand loyalty except I want the bulk of whatever truck I buy to be manufactured here from parts sourced here and believe me, I always check the parts content breakdowns. Stellantis has a penchant for using offshore made parts, guess it's because of the Peugot lineage.

No, it's the bed length. Don't care what material it's stamped from, all I care about is the length. Mine have to be 8 foot. My truck camper requires an 8 foot bed.

I sure have hauled a lot of stuff in the 6' 4" bed on my Ram 2500 and the 5' 7" bed on the 1500 before that. I never knew it was useless and turned me into a girlie-man. Now I'm sad.
