I usually push the button and keep running, but this time it started to beep and would not stop till I regened..
Which button? Any chance you are pushing a button which cancels the regen?

I know at least Kubota recommends delaying regens when in a potentially combustible environment like dry fields etc, but unless the tractor is caked in vegetation I just don't see it as an issue. That said, I would imagine it's safer to avoid it.
My L4060 allows me to inhibit (delay) Regen, but I haven't found the need in my use to utilize that feature. I just work through the regens, which in my case is once every 50 hours. I'm coming up on Regen #17 in 6 years, so I will be long dead before the tractor gets anywhere near 2300.

If I were having regens every 5 hours my opinion would certainly be different.
Yes, that was my thought. Will see if it continues the pattern...

Yes, I cancel it till get back at the barn, but once the beep came on while out in the fields, then I had to put in PARK, and bring down loader and implements, to regen in the open.

Really? Are you sure you're not reading the section for a parked regen? I've got two Kubota's with regen and neither require you to stop all work other than for parked regen.
The manual said thats what the beep meant, to do a parked regen. Now there is a faster beep that means you are about to damage the engine, but I wasnt going to wait for that..

Just crank the rpms up until the up arrow goes away and keep working. Don't push anything and you will be fine. If you are in some really combustable areas, then maybe drive out of them, but I have never pushed a button and never had an issue on my MX5800 when it said it needed to regen. I think we try to outthink all of this too many times. Delaying regens is just going to cause problems in my view.

I put 2200 hours on a 2016 l6060 and am now coming up on 800 hours on a 2020 l6060. I can think of maybe 4 occasions where the regen was an inconvenience. 3 times were when i was moving pallets around in a barn and didnt want to run high rpms, and one when i shut it down during regen because i forgot about it. Spoiler... the neighborhood i was in looked like mosquito control was rolling through when i fired it back up. I did have a few times in the 2016 where the regen didnt want to ignite properly and smoked like crazy for a minute, but whatever. Its really going to boil down to how the engine is being run. 95% of the time, mine is running wide open and not being lugged so its burning as clean as possible so my regens are very far apart. Im sure if a person were running at low rpms and bogging a bunch, it'd regen every few hours. If thats not the case, it needs to get looked at because its probably got a bad injector or something. Personally, I dont miss breathing in diesel fumes and will gladly deal with the regen.

I'm at 192h on my Kukje A2300N4 IDI engine, and it has YET initiated the need for a regen. But I always run it at 2k+rpms.

My Kubota L5460 did its first regen at 60 hours after mostly heavy bush hogging but with me babying it a bit during break-in. The second time at around 100 hours at 2400 rpm’s mostly running a 6 ft flail mower. Pretty much non-events and I rarely notice them now, just keep working. I found the bush hog does work the tractor much harder than the flail.
It’s nice that the Tier 4 doesn’t stink up me or the barn like the old Massey tailpipe.

It’s very real. One of my farming friends has newer stuff. Doesn’t like it when it regens.
I will stick with older stuff until the elites comes and takes them
They do make new tractors that don’t do that!
