L2350 won't go into 4 wheel drive

I bought a Kubota L2350 but I can't get it to go into 4wheel , the lever works goes up and down but I don't think it's in 4wheel. Any help appreciated

Take a look at this thread from last week. The L2350 is a similar setup with similar issues - but easier to work on with the front driveshaft tube running below the clutch housing.

Check the linkage for loose or missing bolts.

How are you determining that it's not in 4wd?

it can be hard to tell with a tractor; it's not like a truck.

before you "fix" anything, I'd make sure that it's definitely not working

The second post in this thread describes a way to check if the 4wd is actually engaged.....

Hi, names Rob111, I have a 20 year old give or take L2350 with bucket that the 4 wheel drive went out on. still runs on rear wheels so I'm guessing it front. Anyone know of known problems I should look for first? Thanks

Did like everyone said , front coup;er was worn, back coupler was broken. Hardest part of the job was driving out the back pin that keeps the shaft cover in place
