Warning About Dealers And Their Pricing

Not until we change the culture back to what credit cards are. "Slave to the Lender" and all that. Cars/Homes/Land I get it. ( paid cash for the hunny over there <======) Last thing on my book is the property, setting up 529s for the curtain climbers has put that on hold.

Credit is part of the business world and drives sales and flooring cost is part of that.

Unless to pay for something up front even being billed is credit as in paying your utility bill after use.

Remember starting my property management business at age 22 and the old local big ACE Hardware extended me a line of credit which helped immensely... it also meant I was buying mostly from them...

Credit is a tool that can be used wisely or abused...

I promised my Grandmother I would never carry a balance into the next month and never have except on a mortgage...

Her attitude from the Depression is without CASH in hand she could not afford it... every market day started at the bank... now many seldom if ever set foot in a bank...

[Cahaba Valley Farm]

Interesting. When I bought my new Kubota-Kneverland round bailer from my local Kubota dealer (I've purchased around 10 tractors from him over the years), I traded in my 7 year old NH roll belt. He gave me more than I thought it was worth on trade in plus Kubota added a 5 grand ag discount and I financed the balance (10 grand) with Kubota at 0 percent with quarterly payments. and he sold me the bailer well below what the Kubota 'build one' website lists it for.

I tell you what 5030, you have ranted and raved about this dealer of yours for I don't know how long. I'm going to call this guy up next week and find out if he is as good as you keep saying he is. And just to let you know, I will report back here what happens. So prepare to be validated or humiliated.

^^^ Your experience won't be an apples to apples comparison since you don't have multiple years of rapport and buying history. Everybody knows a new, cold customer won't get the same treatment anywhere that a long term established customer will.
