Looks like UNC got hot at the right time.

46°F and light rain this morning, going up to 56° today. The rain ended by about 07:30, but a persistent cold wind has remained all day.

May or may not get the speaker cabinet parts cut this afternoon. A nap is sounding pretty good right about now.

Wife has run off to STL to see her uncle in the hospital. He had a mild stroke a couple days ago, then had to have surgery to remove about three feet of his small intestine because of a blockage.

Same here as well. I stuck with hockey for awhile. But, when they eventually inserted politics into the game just like all the other sports, I was done.

Honestly, I don't miss it at all.

Nice surprise today..... USPS delivered my new coffee mugs. They have been backordered for about 10 months. I like it, has a robust handle that my whole hand will fit. Also a couple oz bigger than my 'normal' mug.

LS, I knew what you meant about being tired.

Today I made a spot behind the barn to store the bricks. Moved a pile of stone dust and spread it behind the barn to create some level spots to put the pallets. More shuffling stuff around. Got my firewood tote and pallet moved out of the grass also.

Also mowed a little bit, the area behind barn always grows fast and it was getting tall.

Son is driving up from TN today for a visit.

I'm trying to find the Lyle Lovett music video that has my Dad's cousin, Alfred, in it. Apparently Alfred's mother and Lyle's grandmother were best friends. Since Alfred inherited the land that Lyle remembers playing on as a kid he returned and had the "Lincoln" Texas city limits sign and Alfred in the video. He gave Alfred a VHS copy of the music video and I have seen it at their house. I called Alfred's wife last week to see if they still have the VHS video and they do! The family treasures it so I don't know if I want to chance borrowing it to copy it to digital. I did tell Alfreds wife if they ever transfer it to digital I want a copy. I think our computer club does the conversion, I need to check it out, if I can ever get a copy one way or another I'll figure out how to post a video on TBN.

If Ron was around I'd say "Ron another cousin story!"

I don't recall ever hearing it and after reading it I don't see where I missed anything.
