There is a rate of drop of 3-point knob , usually in front of the operator with rabbit and turtle marked on. If it is all way shut in the direction of turtle then the 3 point would not go down.

No idea what lift or what piece of equipment you are working on. So....maybe a little more detail

My Bendpak has air locks, I need to raise the lift a little to take the load off the locks before I can unlock and lower the lift. The air locks need 30 psi or they will not release. I'm sure the manual lock release also need to be unloaded before they will release.

You could certainly could drive a semi through it. Op needs to elaborate a bit more so we can be more helpful.

By the way, how do you like your MX-4700? not a whole bunch of it around in comparison to 5100.

Hi JC-jetro. I feel like the MX series is a good all-arounder, big enough to do some decent work and yet small enough to be fairly maneuverable and fit into smaller spaces. There are other machines I would like to have but this suits my needs quite well.

I went with the non turbo for simplicity sake. I do not need the extra horse power and felt that the extra cost and complexity would be wasted in my situation. I also like the fact that everything is mechanical on this machine and it is fairly simple to work on.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but how do you like yours??
