In a half ton and no straps. Oil spill looking for a place to happen.

I find it quite amusing that they didn't even put the tailgate up (though it would not really improve anything...) given that there is plenty of room to do so, as is.

He probably read somewhere on the internet that driving with his tailgate down helps his gas mileage.

I thought the same thing. The bed has been replaced and maybe the latch is broken.

I couldn't find the video they referred to, but this

seems like a classic case of hauling something wrong. At least nobody was hurt.

Edit; found the video. Chair hits VSP cruiser on I-89

I didn't get a photo but I saw a guy with a full pallet of water in an F150. Again too heavy for the truck and again not tied in any way. But the tailgate gate was closed. Bottled water falls over much easier than boxes of oil. Those thin bottles have no support. I hate having that stuff in my trailer. I tie it up and it still tries to fall over. And this guy was on the freeway.

Saw this today on 512 in Puyallup. No securement at all. And it was loaded wrong. It started fishtailing really bad going down South Hill. He almost lost it. He was lucky no one was in the lane next to him.
