Just a guess. The 3-point arm came loose and dropped on the ground. It bent up when the tractor was backed up. A hammer will straighten out the bent sway arm.

Had the lug nuts come loose on my Kubota L6060 at about 100 hours. Check your lug nuts!

That happened to me one year. I came back from blowing snow and noticed what I thought was one loose nut. However, looking closer ALL of them were loose!! I ended up replacing the lugs because of damaged threads. Checked all the other lugs with a torque wrench and they were all tight. Glad I made it home with no other possible serious damage.

Agree that's probably how it happened but that would be one heck of a hammer ! I'd stop by a shop with an hydraulic press to straighten it (assuming the OP does not have a big press.)

I hate the fact that I make the assumptions/judgements I do but from the damage I would guess he does not. Might be a good idea to check the hind end of the tractor near the pins for the 3PT and make sure nothing moved/cracked there as well.

Thank you all for suggestions. Moral of story is I need to get intimate with the user manual and inspect this machine every time i use it. I put it back on for now:

It looks like the turnbuckles for the lift arm and the top link are improperly installed. There should always be the same amount of threads showing above and below the turnbuckle.

Spent about two hours going over my last new tractor. Loose bolts, cotter pins not even spread let alone bent over, and no grease or lube were all over the unit. A lot I don't believe were dealer prep spots, parts seemed to be assembled at the factory, but still annoying. Glad I took the time...lesson learned from my last tractor with endless hydraulic leaks during the first ~10 hrs.

Sorry OP, I would absolutely go over the entire tractor with a fine tooth comb and mark all the nuts/bolts along with everything else you decided to do.
Do yourself a BIG favour and re-torque your wheel nuts. Do the same for all your loader mounts.

After torquing use a paint pen or permanent marker to mark every bolt the same way i.e. a dot at the 12 o'clock position. It's an easy way to spot a problem on your walk around during the tractor warm up.

So my preference is off lease one driver vehicles now.
Let somebody else have all the 'fun'.
All I buy, low mileage off lease. Like you say 'let someone else have the fun', I agree and let them take the depreciation hit too. I can usually get them at 40-50% off sticker. Paying cash always seals the deal too.

Used vehicles are still a hot commodity due to insufficient new vehicle supply and they are selling for not much less than new. Until this situation changes there are no deals like you describe anymore. My neighbor is the general manager of a large auto dealership and he says that most of their business now is used car sales at premium prices, and they don’t have new cars to lease anymore.

Don't know as I'm not in the market for a vehicle presently. I do know that cars that get excellent mileage are in great demand considering fuel prices. I have a 14 Ford Focus SE with a 5 speed that averages 39.5 all the time. I'm real good with that. Even at the inflated fuel prices, I can fill it up for 30 bucks. Filled it yesterday. Guy next to me was filling his full size newer Chevy pickup truck and took the pump past 100 bucks. Kind of cringed when I told him that was 3 fills for me. Oh well, you get what you vote for I guess.
