TODAYS SEAT TIME

Tonight I had to load my snowsled to bring it to storage for the summer. My ramps have already been swapped over for my ATV. It used to be that if I could get one ski on the tailgate I could load the sled. Not tonight though, I messed with it for a few minutes then went and got the tractor. It could be that sleds are getting heavier, I'm getting wimpier, or truck beds are getting higher but I ran a chain to each ski strut and lifted the front end into the truck. Then unhooked, tied onto the back of the sled and slid it in.
It may have been the lazy man's way but right now my back doesn't hurt so that's a win to me. Plus there's no pick marks in the tailgate. 👍

Working smarter, not harder?

Sounds smart to me anyway. I use my forks to set in and take out my 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck each season.

Today's set time was highly limited. I was setting up to rehang my FEL bucket and the steering got squirrely. Then I heard the pffft of a hydraulic line going. The long hydraulic line ended up being a 3 hole line instead of the designed 2 hole. I've been looking at the hoses for a couple of years and one gave up..Oring flat faced on one end x #6 JIC (45 degree). Carquest had no angled JICs, Eastern Hydr had no flat face, Hydra Hose took care of me to the tune of $130 ish 🤮 . At least the hoses failed in the tractor yard and it happened early enough on a weekday to get some new ones built.;) Back together on Saturday.

Your reaction to a snake is a tad bit different then mine.
I might have put the pieces back together to identify it after the tire and bucket got through with it.

Oh nice pond also.
